In the Name of God Amen I ROBERT MATSON Citizen and Salter of London being of sound and perfect mind and memory though weake in body doe make this my last Will and Testament as followeth.
First And principally I give and bequeath my soul into the Hands of Allmighty God my Maker hoping to be saved by the pretious death and alone merits of my Deare Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ.
My body I comit to the Earth to be buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named.
And for my worldly Estate which God Allmighty hath blessed me with I give and dispose of the same as is hereafter menconed (That is to say).

Imprimus I give my Brother DANIEL MATSON the sume of one hundred pounds sterling to be paid within one twelve months after my decease.
Item I give my Brother JAMES MATSON the like sume of one hundred pounds sterling to be paid within one twelve months after my decease.
Item I give my Brother CHRISTOPHER MATSON the like sume of one hundred pounds sterling to be paid within one twelve months after my decease.
Item I give my Brother NATHANIEL MATSON the sume of five hundred pounds sterling to be paid within one twelve months after my decease which is over and above the Annuity of fourteen pounds per cent for five hundred pounds I paid to the Exchequer which I formerly gave him.

Item I give my Brother NICHOLAS MATSON the sume of one hundred pounds sterling to be paid within one twelve months after my decease.
Item I give my Brother HENRY MATSON the sume of one hundred pounds sterling to be paid within one twelve months after my decease.
Item I give to my Sister HOUSEMAN and her Husband the sume of tenne pounds apeece.
Item I give her Sonn JAMES HOUSEMAN the sume of twenty pounds sterling.

Item I give my Brother JAMES MATSON's Sonn JAMES the sume of fifty pounds sterling.
Item I give my loving friends Mr. DEVINK Mr. HALL and Mr. CLEAVE the sume of six pounds apiece to buy them mourning.
Item I give Mr. Brawne and his Wife the sume of tenne pounds sterling apeece.
Item I give my Uncle JAMES MATSON and his Wife the sume of five pounds apeece.
Item I give to the Poor of Dover the sume of tenne pounds sterling.

Item I give my Brother CHRISTOPHER MATSON more the sume of fifteen pounds a yeare during his life to be by my Executors paid him.

Lastly I make my loving Mother MARY MATSON and my Loving Brother Mr. JOHN MATSON my full and sole Executors of this my last Will
to whom I give the Rest and Residue of my Estate not before bequeathed desiring them to be kind and assisting to any of our family as in their discretion they shall see cause.

In Witness whereof I the said ROBERT MATSON have hereunto put my Hand and Seale this 17th Day of November Anno Dmi 1695 and in the seaventh yeare of the Raigne of Our Soveraigne Lord King William the third over England etc. ROBERT MATSON

Read sealed published and declared to be his last Will and Testament itt being on stampt paper in the presence of and after the interlinings of the Legacy of fifteen pounds per annum payable to CHRISTOPHER during his life.
