ITEM I give and bequeath unto my dear and well beloved wife the sum of twenty pounds to be paid her in six months time after my decease and also my executor to pay her twenty pounds a year during her naturall life and I further will unto her all that chest of linnen that is at Weest Court to her and her disposing.
ITEM I give unto my son John Matson the sum of fifty pounds to be paid in ten months time after my decease.
ITEM I give unto my daughter Sarah Mereweather the sum of twenty pounds to be paid her in six
months after my decease.
ITEM I give unto my daughter Mary the wife of Thomas Sladen the sum of twenty pounds to be paid
her in six months after my decease.
ITEM I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Matson wife of James Matson five pounds.
ITEM I give unto my grandson John Matson son of James Matson the sum of ten pounds to be paid him
in six years after my decease.
ITEM I give unto my servant Thomas Marsh the sume of ten shillings
ITEM I give unto the poor of Shepherdswell the sum of twenty shillings.
My Rest and Residue of my tresuary goods and chattells whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Matson my full and sole executor upon condition he pay all my debts and legacies to this my last will and testament and I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills and testaments by me formerly made.
