�I desire to be buried in the vault with my late wife in Lydd Churchyard with plainness and privacy�
Trustees to dispose of properties other than those bequeathed, and for the realized funds to form part of personal estate.
Trustees to call in bond of �800 owed by Joseph STRINGER of Maidstone, Cabinet Maker & Upholsterer and invest in Government securities (or similar) (for the benefit of William RICH.
William STRINGER (one of the nominated executors & trustees) �is my Attorney and Solicitor (and) shall continue to act as such in all matters relating to my property and affairs and shall make the usual professional charges�

MAXSTED(MAXTED) Families
Based on the relationships in his will, the testator was a Grandson of Richard MAXSTED (1685 � 1747) who was a yeoman of Smarden.
Richard named his ten children then surviving in his own will (only descendancy lines with beneficiaries shown below).
While conclusive parish records have yet to be found for the testator (and his sister Anne), it is 
most probable that he was the son of Richard�s third surviving son John (bap 1731 Smarden) and is shown that way below.
