In the name of God Amen The three and Twentithe daye of Aprill Anno Domini 1594, and in the xxxvjth yeare of the reigne of our Sovereigne Ladye Elizabethe by the grace of God Queene of Englande Frannce and Ireland defender of the faithe &c.
I Thomas Mayowe the younger of Marden in the Countye of Kent matmaker, being weake in bodye but of good and p�fect remembrannce, thanks be given to Allmightie God therfore, Do make, ordayne and appointe this my last will and testament in manner and forme following.
First of all other things bequeathing my soule into the hands of Allmightie God my creator redeemer and Sanctifyer stedfastlye trusting throughe the p�cious bloodsheading of Jesus Christ onelye that all my synnes and offences are frelye pardoned and forgiven me
And my bodye to be buryed in the Churchyard of Marden.

Itm I do give unto the poorest people of the p�ishe of Marden aforesayde xxs of good and Lawfull monye of England to be distributed amongst them at the Discrecon of mine executr within the space of one whole monethe next after my decease: of the whiche xxs my Will and minde is that the widowe Soone shall have iiijs payed unto her yf she live so long, otherwise to be bestowed among the rest of the poore.

Itm I give unto my servannte John Button five pounds of good and lawfull monie of England to be payed unto him by mine executor within two yeares nexte after my decease.

Itm I give and bequeathe unto Elizabeth Button widow so muche newe russet as shall make her a petticoate to be delivered unto her incontinentlye? after my decease
Itm I do give unto the sayde Elizabethe Button, during all the terme of the lease of the Ten�te and lands wherin I nowe dwell, her dwelling in the same roomthe in the house w�ch nowe she hathe and enjoyethe withe neccessarye commodities to the water or otherwise about the sayde house
Neverthelesse my will and minde is that yf the sayde Elizabethe Button shall marrye, that then she shall presentlye awayde out of the sayde roomthe and depart and the sayde gift for her dwelling shall from thenceforthe stand utterlye voyde

Itm I do give unto my brother William Mayowe tenn shillings of good and lawfull monye of England to be delivered unto him w�thin one whole yeare nexte after my decease
Itm I give and bequeathe unto my two sisters Margaret Dabson the wife of Salomon Dabson and to Agnes Weekes the wife of Thomas Weekes to either of them vs of good Englishe monye to be delevered unto either of them within one whole yeare nexte after my decease

Itm I give and bequeathe unto Amye Dyne the daughter of Richard Dine and Joane my syster the full somme of tenn poundes of good & lawfull monye of England to be payd unto her within two yeares nexte after my decease
Itm I give & bequeathe unto Thomas Dabson the sonne of Salomon Dabson and Margaret my sister the full somme of ten pounds of good and lawfull monye of England to be payd unto him at his age of one and twentye yeares yf he live so long
Itm I give and bequeathe unto the two daughters of Salomon Dabson and Margaret my sister nowe living to either of them five pounds to be delivered unto either of them at theire sev�all age of eighteene yeares or the daye of mariage yf they live so long

All the residue of my moveables goods and chattelles unbequeathed, I give and bequeathe unto Joane Dine wife of Richard Dine of Marden aforesayd my sister whom I make and ordeine sole executrix of this my last will and Testament.

This is the last will and testament of me the above written Thomas Mayowe the younger made & declared the daye and yeare abovesayde concerning the disposicon of my messuage or ten�te and the landes therunto belonging in Marden aforesayde latelye boughte of Willm Symmons.

I do will give and bequeathe unto Joane Dyne the wife of Richard Dine aforesayde my sister all the yssue profite and commodityes whatsoever arising out of my sayde messuage or Ten�te & the lands therunto belonging during all the tyme and terme of her naturall life, keeping the repa�cons and paying the Lords rents therout yssuing and making no stripp nor wast in and upon the premisses

And after the decease of the sayde Joane Dine my sister I do will give and bequeathe all the sd messuage or ten�te and the lands therunto belonging unto Marion Dyne the god-daughter of me the sayde Testator and to the heires of her bodye lawfullye begotten forever
And for want of suche yssue of her bodye lawfullye begotten after the decease of the sayde Marion Dine my sisters daughter, I do give and bequeathe all the sayd messuage or ten�te and the lands therunto belonging unto Willm Mayow my brother and to his heires in fee simple forever.

In witnes wherof I the sd Thomas Mayowe the younger the Testator have set to my hand and seale in the p�sence of these witnesses Signed Thoma Mayow testatoris
