I Joseph Mepham of Darenth in the County of Kent Yeoman Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)

I Give to my Nephew John Mepham the son of my late Brother John Mepham deceased my Silver Watch for his own use and benefit
I Give to John Swaisland of Southfleet in the County of Kent Butcher and David Round of Southfleet aforesaid Farmer ( my Executors hereinafter named) the Sum of Five Pounds a Piece of lawful British money to be paid to or to be retained by them immediately upon my decease

I Give to William Head of Maidstone in the said County Sawyer the son of my late wife Margaret by her former Husband William Head deceased all my Wearing Apparel and also the sum of ten pounds of lawful British money for his own absolute use and benefit to be delivered and paid to him by my said Executors within three months next after my decease
Also I give to the said William Head all my Household Furniture Plate Linen and China to and for his own absolute use and benefit

I Give to Thomas Hoar of Dartford in the said County Labourer the Sum of forty pounds of like lawful British Money for his own use and benefit
And which said Thomas Hoar is the son of Elizabeth the late Wife of Richard Hoar the same Elizabeth being before her marriage called Elizabeth Head Spinster and which same Elizabeth was another Daughter of my said late Wife Margaret by her said former Husband William Head deceased the said legacy of Forty pounds to be paid to the said Thomas Hoar within six months next after my decease

I give to Ann Bingham Widow of Bingham deceased which said Ann before her marriage was called Ann Mepham Spinster and is a Daughter of my late Brother Samuel Mepham the Sum of One hundred pounds of like lawful British Money for her own absolute use and benefit to be paid within six months next after my decease

And as to all the rest and residue of my Personal Estate and Effects Wheresoever and of What nature or kind soever which I may happen to be possessed of or intitled unto at the time of my decease from and after payment of all my just debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences and the Legacies bequeathed by this my Will I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Nephews and Nieces whose names are hereinafter mentioned (that is to say)
my said Nephew John Mepham and my Neice Sarah Mepham the son and Daughter of my late Brother John Mepham deceased
and my Nephew Thomas Mepham and my Nieces Jane Mepham and the said Ann Bingham late Ann Mepham the son and Daughters of my late Brother Samuel Mepham deceased
and for their respective Executors Administrators and Assigns in equal parts shares and proportions

And I appoint the said John Swaisland and David Round Executors of this my Will And I declare that my Executors and Trustees shall not be answerable one for another and by no means for involuntary losses and that they shall be allowed and may retain to and reimburse themselves all their Costs Charges Damages and expences to be occurred by the due execution of the trusts hereby in them reposed

And I hereby revoke all my former Wills In Witness whereof I the said Joseph Mepham the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in two Sheets of paper set my hand and Seal (that is to say) my hand to the first Sheet and my Hand and Seal to this Second and last Sheet this sixteenth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and nineteen The mark and Seal of X Joseph Mepham
