Appeared Personally Hester Milner of Maidstone in the County of Kent Spinster and Sophia
Pelletier of the Parish of St. Peter le Poor London Spinster and made Oath that they knew and were
well acquainted with Elizabeth Milner late of Maidstone aforesaid Spinster deceased for some time
before her death and during that time have frequently seen her write and subscribe her Name and
thereby came to know and be well acquainted with the manner and character of her handwriting and
subscription and having now carefully viewed and perused the Paper Writing hereto annexed
purporting to be the last Will and Testament of the said deceased, beginning this “I give bequeath and
devise all I die possessed of “ ending thus “if not where the Tree falls let it lye Feb. 9th 1758” and thus
subscribed: “Elizab. Milner”they say that they do verily and in their consciences believe the whole
series and contents of the said Paper Writng and the Name Elizab. Milner thereto subscribed to be all
of the proper handwriting and subscription of her the said Elizabeth Milner deceased
Hester Milner Sophia Pelletier
Same day the said Hester Milner and Sophia Pelletier were duly sworn to the truth of this affidavit

On the 24th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy nine Administration with the Will annexed of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of Elizabeth Milner late of Maidstone in the County of Kent Spinster deceased was granted to Ann Milner Spinster the natural and lawful Sister of the said deceased and Universal Legatee named in the said Will having been first sworn duly to administer. No executor being named in the said Will.
