I Give and Bequeath unto the said William Pott and John Denne their Executors Administrators and Assigns the Sum of Seven Hundred pounds of sterling British Money upon Trust that they or the survivor of them or the Executor or Administrators of such survivor do and with all convenient speed after my Decease lay out and invest the same in the public Stocks or Funds of this Kingdom or upon good real securities in their or his Names or Name And do and shall pay the Dividends Interest and annual profits thereof or of the Stocks Funds and securities in or upon which the same shall be Invested unto my Dear Wife Mary Minter during her natural life
And from and after her Decease do and shall pay and assign the sum of Two hundred and fifty pounds part of the said Trust Monies or the Stock Funds and Securities in or upon which the Same shall be invested unto my Brother Henry in case he shall be living at that time but if dead shall do and shall pay the Dividend Interest and annual profits thereof or of the said Stock Funds and Securities unto Sarah his now wife during her natural life And from and after her Decease do and shall pay and assign the said sum of two hundred and fifty pound of the Stocks Funds and Securities in or upon which the same shall be invested unto and equally between all and every [of?] the legitimate Child and children of my said Brother Henry and to their respective Executors Administrators and Assigns
And ? from and after the Decease of my said wife do and shall pay the Interest Dividends and annual Profits of the Sum of One hundred pounds other part of the said Sum of Money or the Stocks Funds or Securities in or upon which the same shall -------- and Jane his Wife And the Survivor ------- and the Life of the longer Liver of them And from and after the Decease of such Survivor do and shall pay and assign the said sum of One hundred pounds or the Stocks Funds and Securities in or upon which the same shall be invested Unto and equally between all and every the Child and children of my Sister Maria who is married to Thomas Potts of Margate aforesaid Laborer and to their respective Executors Administrators and assigns
And also do and shall from and after the Decease of my said Wife pay and assign the Sum of one hundred pounds other part of the said Trust Money or the Stocks Funds and Securities in or upon which the same shall be invested Unto my Brother John Minter his Executors Administrators and Assigns
And likewise do and shall from and After the Decease of my said Wife pay and assign the sum of One hundred And fifty pounds further part of the said Trust Money or the Stocks Funds and Securities in or upon which the same shall be invested Unto my said sister Maria if then living for her own absolute benefit And disposal without being liable to the control Debts or Engagements of her Husband But if dead do and shall pay the Dividends Interest and annual profits thereof or of the said Stocks Funds and Securities Unto the said Thomas Potts during his natural Life And from and after his Decease do and shall pay and assign the said Sum of One hundred and fifty pounds and the Stocks Funds and Securities In or upon which the same shall be invested Unto and equally between All and every the Child and Children of my said Sister Maria and to their Respective Executors Administrators and Assigns
And also from and After the Decease of my said Wife do and shall pay the Dividend Interest and annual profits of the Sum of One hundred pounds The remaining part of the said Trust Money or of the Stocks Funds and Securities in or upon which the same shall be invested Unto my Sister Hannah during her natural Life and from and after her Decease do and shall pay and assign the said last mentioned Sum of One hundred pounds or the Stocks Funds and Securities Unto and equally between all and every the legitimate Child and Children of my said Sister Hannah and to their respective Executors Administrators and Assigns But if my Sister Hannah shall have no such Child or Children then do and shall pay and assign the same last mentioned Sum or the said Stocks Funds and Securities in or upon which the same shall be invested Unto and equally between all and every the Child and Children of my said Brother Henry and of my said Sister Maria and to their respective Executors Administrators and Assigns
And I Give and Bequeath all my Household Goods and Furniture Linen Plate China Books and Pictures and all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and Wheresover not herein before bequeathed or disposed of subject to and after payment of all my just Debts funeral and testamentary Charges and other incidental Expenses Unto my said Wife Mary her Executors Administrators and assigns for her own absolute benefit and disposal
And I do hereby declare that the said William Pott and John Denne their Executors and
Administrators shall -----------
by virtue hereof[?] ? ? respectively all such ? and
Expences as they any or either of them shall or may sustain or be
put unto in or about the Execution of this my Will or the Trust
thereof[?] or in any way relating thereto And that they any or either of them
shall not be answerable or accountable for any more Monies or things than
they shall respectively receive nor for any Loss that may happen
to the same without their respective wilful Default nor shall one of
them be answerable or accountable for the other or others of them
but each of them for his own Acts Receipts Payments and Defaults
only In Witness whereof I the said George Minter the Testator have
to the first Sheet of this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and to
this the second and last Sheet thereof my Hand and seal this Sixteenth Day of
August in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty three ~

The before registered Will of George Minter deceased was proved the Seventeenth Day of February 1824 before the Reverend John Francis Clerk Surrogate to the Worshipful Maurice Swabey Doctor of Laws Official General to the Reverend the Archdeacon of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of William Pott and John Denne the Executors named in the Said Will they being first sworn duly to perform the same.
