Firstly I utterly renounce and forsake the enemy of Christ and the world the flesh and the devil with all their adherents and religious and steadfastly and most faithfully commit my soul to the mercy of my saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ whose mercy is all my trust faithfully to be saved, my body to be buried in the churchyard of Chilham.

I will that there be two bushels of wheat to be made into bread and given to the poor at Chilham at my burial and two bushels of wheat be made into bread and given to the poor at Brabourne at some reasonable time within one month after my funeral.

My brother Pettyt shall sell all my lands for the best price to pay all my debts and the excess to go to my brother Sampson. My brother Sampson shall pay my mother 40 shillings.

The residue of all my goods to Sampson Moon my brother who I make my executor.

To my brother Pettyt my gown with all things that pertain to it with all my brother William gave me before he died when he lay sick at Brabourne.

To my two godchildren, Richard Mary and Richard Cheeseman 12 pence.
If Paterson give up the bond my brother William Moon had with him about John Woodland to Thomas Moon �5 at 21. If Paterson will not discharge the bond the �5 is not to be given.

Witnesses: Reynold Amye, John Browne , Richard Pope and Thomas Pettyt.

I will that my sister Alice shall have the full �10 at the time of her marriage that Thomas Brown gave her, that my mother put me in remembrance that I do owe her.
