In the name of God Amen I John Moon of the Town of Folkstone in the County of Kent, Weaver being ancient but of sound & perfect mind and memory (praised be to Almighty God for the same!) do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner following vizt.

Impr[im]is I give & bequeath unto my Two Daughters Jane the Wife of Mathew Newman and Mary the Wife of John Jeffery the Sum of Twenty Shillings each to be paid unto them within Six Months next after my decease by my Executor hereinafter named

Item I give and bequeath unto my Son William Moon & unto my Grandson Gosman Moon Son of Richard Moon All those Messuages or Tenements, Backsides, Yards, Ground and Premises with the Appurtenances lying and being in Folkstone afores[ai]d and now in mine and the said William Moon’s Occupations To have and to hold the sd unto the said William Moon and Gosman Moon their Heirs and Assigns for ever as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants

He the said Gosman Moon as soon as he shall attain the full Age of Twenty One years, paying unto his Sister Hannah Five pounds out of his part & share in the premises
But in case the said Gosman Moon shall happen to dye and depart this Life before he attains (the) said Age of One and Twenty years
That then and in such case I give and bequeath the said Moiety or Half part share and Interest of and in the said Messuages or Tenements given unto the said Gosman as aforesaid unto the said Hannah Moon her Heirs and Assigns for ever

And I do hereby order and direct that during and untill such Time as the said Gosman Moon shall attain said Age of Twenty One years That my said Son William shall be accountable to and for the full Rents Issues and Profits of the said Two Messuages and Premises
And after Payment of Taxes and Repairs the same to pay and apply from time to time for and towards the Payment and discharging of the Mortgage of Twenty Two pounds due and owing on the said Premisses And after (the) said Mortgage shall be paid off and discharged the Rents and profits of said Premisses from time to time to be equally divided by and between the said William Moon & Gosman Moon

Item I give and bequeath unto the said William Moon all and every my household goods Implements of Household goods, Linnen, Plate, Moneys, Goods, Chattels and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever that I shall leave at the Time of my decease He paying my debts & Funeral Expences and Charges of Probate of this my Will

And I make and ordain the said William Moon full and sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament
And revoke and make void all former Will and Wills by me heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said John Moon have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Twentieth day of December Anno dini 1725
