In the name of God Amen The nynetethe daie of Maye In the yere of o[u]r Lord God a thowsand fyve hundrethe fyfte and seven and in the fourthe and fyfte yeeres of The raigns of or Soverain Lorde and Ladye Phillippe and Mary by the grace of God Kinge and Quene of Ingland, Spaine, Frannce both Cicells [Scilly], Irlind & Ireland, Defendor of the faithe &c.
I Johane Mounte of the p[ar]ishe of Biddenden in the countye of Kente Wydowe I ordeine and make this my present testamente conteinynge her(e)in my laste will in mannor and forme folowinge (that is to saye)
Firste I comytte my soule into the hands of almightie God my creator and redemer and my bodie to the Erthe to be buryed within the churche yearde of Biddenden

Item I will there shalbe bestowed in the daye of mye burriall vjs viijd in breade and drincke for the releif of the porre people as farre as the said vjs viijd will extend
Item I geve to Clemet Mounte my sonne thre(e) pewter dishes, thre(e) pewter platters and one Cawtherne conteynynge? xxti [20] gallons and my carved cupbord and my greate newe chaire and my bakinge Iron and alsbone weynard?
Item I geve to Richard Mounte my sonne one Cowe of the clora brended and xxs of currant monye, Thre Pewter dishes and thre pewter platters and a greate brasse panne with two eares and one cheste co[n]teynyinge two busshells To be delivered to him Immediatlye after my decesse

Allso I geve to Mathewe Mounte my sonne one heyffar of color a brended wth a white bellye and he to have the profitte Thereof Immediatlye after my decesse and xxs of currant monye, and one newe keatle with an Iron Bayle coteynyinge X [10] gallons and my greate Bride cheste and mye nowe cupbord
Item I give to William Mounte mye sonne one Weynarde to be Delivered him Immediatlye after my decesse by myne executors

Item I will that all the reste of my moveable goods unbequethed shalbe equallie devided betwene mye Thre(e) sonnes (That ys to saye) To Clemente Mounte, Richarde Mounte and Mathewe Mounte, that ys to be done by th'advise (of) fower honeste men Immediatelye after mye decesse
Item I will that Clemente Mounte shall have the kepinge of all suche monye and moveable goods as I have geven to the said Mathewe Mounte my sonne excepte the profitte of his heyyfar of cowe as is abovewriten in this my presente Testamente and Laste will untill The said Mathewe Mounte shall accomplishe the age of xxiiijtie [24] yeres and Then the said Clemente or his executors or assignes shall deliver the said monye and goods to the said Mathew or to his heires or assignes

Item I geve To Lettys Knotts xxd and to Johane Hampton xxd and to Margarette Sampson xxd and to Johane Wills xxd
this to be done Imediatly after my decesse

Also I do co[n]stitute ordeine and make Clemente Mounte my sole executor and to have for his paines iijs iiijd and to be allowed for all suche charges as he shalbe at aboute This my Laste Will
