In the name of God amen the eighth day of February in the year of our lord god one thousand five hundred and seventy seven. I George Modle servant to Mr John Nordey of Rayneham in the County of Kent sick in body and yet thanks be to almighty god in good and perfect memory considering that we all may be mortal and that the time when it shall please god to call me out of this world thus uncertain And reposing my hole �.. of salvation to be by and through the merit death and passion of my lord and Saviour Jesus Christ do make my Testament and last will in manner and form following And first I bequeath my Soul to almighty god And my body to be buried in the parish Church or church yard of Rayneham.

Item I give and bequeath to the two Sons of my cousin Stephen Bugeley to either of them five pounds of lawful money of England to be paid at the days of their several marriages And if any of them chance to die before marrying then the survivor to have that portion.
Item I give to the two daughters of the said Stephen ten pounds of like money viz to either of them five pounds to be paid at their marriages likewise And if any of them chance to die before marrying then the survivor to have that portion
And if both the said Sons of the said Stephen die before marrying then their portions t� �� to their Sisters equally to be divided And if both the said daughters die then their said portions to remain to the said Sons by equal divisions.

Item I give to ..ly.. W..lgoose and �masey Judsey my fellow servants to either of them �� shillings to be paid to them severally at Michaelmas next.
Item I give those my �� she� which �� of Tenham [Teynham] hath in his keeping to the church wardens and collectors for the poor in the parish of Rayneham to this intent that the same or so m�. �.. shall be kept in Stock. And the profit thereof to be to the use of the poor people of the said parish of Rayneham.
Item I give to ��. Stephen for my fellow servants ��.. to be paid to them at Michaelmas next.
Item I give to Thomas Morye my fellow servant twenty shillings to be paid at the same time.

Item I give to Jeffery Cole to be paid at the same time twenty shillings.
Item I give to every of my god children in the parishes of Rayneham and Newington five shillings to be paid to them the Sunday next after new years day.
Item I will to Robert Exall of Rayneham ��.. of good �.. wheat to be delivered to him at Michaelmas next or within �.. days then next ensuing.
Item I give to Michael Carter my fellow servant two �� of Barley which remaineth in ths�. of goodman ..odd.. of ��..

And of this my Testament and last will I ordain and make to be the Executor ��.. �.. I further willed and bequeathed the residue of my goods if any remained to his cousin Stephen Bugley these being witnesses Charles Garlick vicar of Rayneham & Michael Carter
