In the name of God Amen The xviijth daye of September in the xxxvth yeare of the reigne of our most gratious sovereigne Ladye Elizabethe by the grace of God of England France & Ireland Queene defender of the faithe &c.
I Michaell Oliver sonne of Thomas Oliver thelder of the p�ishe of Sheldwyche within the countye of Kente yoman being sicke of bodye yet of p�fecte remembrannce, thanked be God, doe declare and make these p�nts wherein is conteyned my last will and testament in manner and forme following
First I bequeathe my soule into the hands of the eternall god my alone Saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ by whose righteousnes deathe passion and resurreccon I wretched synner onelye hope to have everlasting life
And my bodye to be buryed in suche place and manner as unto my executor shall seeme good

Itm I will and give unto Peeter Oliver my brother the somme of tenn pounds of lawfull monye of England to be payed to him or his assignes within one quarter of one yeare nexte after my decease

Itm I will and give to my neece Margaret Saunders daughter of my sister Margaret nowe wife to Edward Saunders the younger v li of like lawfull monye to be payd to the sayde Margaret Saunders my neece at her full age of sixeteene yeares.
And yf it shall happen the sayde Margaret Saunders my neece to dye before she shall accomplishe her sayde full age of sixteene yeares then I will and give the sayde somme of five pounds to Edward Saunders her naturall brother to be payd to him at his full age of sixteene yeares

Itm I will to Dynise? Oliver my mother in lawe tenn shillings
Itm I will and give to my cosin Matthewe Rucke my byble

Touching the disposicon of all my landes ten�tes and hereditaments w�ch I have in the p�ishe of Sheldwich aforesd or else where, my will and minde is they shall be disposed in mann� following viz.

First I will and bequeathe to my nephewe Nicholas Oliver sonne of Thomas Oliver my brother and to the heires of the sayde Nicholas forev� all those my rents of assize of iiij li yearlye and ten he..s yssuing out of diverse? landes ten�ts and hereditaments in Sheldwiche aforesayd together with those my two acres of land and other my hereditam�ts withe the revision thereof lying in the sayd p�ishe of Sheldwiche All w�ch sayde premisses were belonging to the late dissolved hospitall of St. James of Packshall and were given to me and to my heires by the gift and graunt of John Rucke the younger late of Sheldwiche aforesd yoman deceased as by his last will and testament maye further appeare To have and to hold the sd rents hen� lands and other hereditamentes withe the rendsion & rendsions thereof w�th theire app�tenannces to the sayde Nicholas and to his heires in suche manner and forme & to all intents & purposes as they were given & bequeathed to me the sayd Mychaell & my heires

Provided allwayes and my will and minde is that the sayde Thomas Oliver my brother or his ass�s shall yearlye receive holde & enjoye the sd yearlye rentes hens and other benefits & p�fits of the foresayde devised premisses untill suche time as the sd Nicholas shall accomplishe his age of one and twentie yeares towarde the bringing up and mainteynannce of the sayd Nicholas
Provided furthermore that yf the sd Nicholas shall decease before he shall accomplishe his sayde age of one and twentie yeares that then I will and give the sd rents hen� lands and other hereditam�ts wth the revision & revisions thereof to the sd Thomas Oliver my brother and to his heires forever

The residue of all my lands ten�ts and hereditam�ts lying in Sheldwich aforesd wch were the lands ten�ts and hereditam�ts of Thomas Oliver my father, I give and bequeathe to the sd Thomas Oliver and Peeter Oliver my brethren and to theire heires forever

And I heerby ordeine & make my foresd brother Thomas Oliver executor of this my last will and testament whom I hartilye desyre to se the same executed according to the trust committed to him.

In witnes whereof I the sd Michaell Oliver have heerunto set my hand & seale the daye and yeare first above written Michaell Oliver
Declared and published as the last will and Testam�t of the sayd Michaell Oliver in the p�sence of
Matthew Rucke � Siriak Rucke

Md that the foresayd xviijth daye of September 1593 and in the xxxvth yeare of her ma�ties sayde reigne, I the foresd Michaell Oliver do make and ordeine these p�sents to be united to my last will and testam�t and to be taken as p(ar)te and p�cell of the same:

And by the same I do devise assigne & ordeine that my foresayde brother Thomas Oliver for him selfe his heires executors and administrators within ten dayes nexte after my decease shall become bounden to my foresayde brother Peeter Oliver his executor & administrator in one wryting obligatorye in the somme of xxx li wth condicon indorsed wch shall bend and have relacon to and for the true p�fourmannce of my sayd last will & testam�t

whiche yf he shall refuse to do, that then I will and my mind is that Margaret Saunders my neece & Edward Saunders my nephewe mentioned in my sayde last will or the survivor of them or theire assignes shall enter into all those my yearelye rentes hens lands tents and hereditamentes in Sheldwiche aforesayde by me in my sayde last will given and devised to my nephewe Nicholas Oliver and them to have holde possesse and enioye untill suche tyme as my sayde nephewe Nicholas Oliver shall accomplishe his full age of one and twentye yeares anye thing in the sayde last will & testam�t to the contrarye notwithstanding.
