In the Name of God Amen I George Relph of the Parish of Darenth in the County of Kent being through the abundant mercy and Goodness of God of a sound and perfect understanding and memory do constitute this my Last Will and Testament and desire it may be received by all as such
Imprimis I most humbly bequeath my Soul to God my Maker beseeching his most gracious acceptance of it through the all sufficient merits and mediation of my most compassionate Redeemer Jesus Christ
Imprimis I give my body to the Earth from when it was taken in full assurance of its resurrection from thence at the last Day As for my burial I desire it may be decent without pomp or state at the Discretion of my dear Wife

Imprimis I will that all my Debts and Funeral charges be paid and discharged by my Executrix hereinafter named
Item I give and bequeath unto my loving Wife Hannah Relph All my Goods and Chattles and Personal Estate whatsoever
Also I Do give unto my said Wife all and every such Lands and Tenements as I shall be possessed of at the time of my Decease

And I do make and constitute my said Wife Hannah Relph Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

and after the Death of this my beloved Wife and Executrix I desire that her Debts be paid and Funeral Expenses and then the remainder of my Estate to be equally divided into two parts the one part to be given in equal shares to my Brothers and Sisters of my side and their Heirs for ever and the other part to be given in equal shares to the Brothers and Sisters and their Heirs for ever of this my said Executrixes

And whereas I have as above made my Wife my full and Sole Executrix of all my Personal estate as well as real my intent and meaning is And my Will is such that whatever Goods or Chattles I shall be possessed of at the time of my Decease My Desire is that after the Decease of my Executrix shall all and every part thereof be equally divided betwixt the two Families as aforesaid

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the third Day of January and in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty two /—/ George Relph (LS) /—/
Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the above named Testator George Relph as and for his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as Witness thereto in the presence of the said Testator and in the presence of each other

This Will was proved at London the fourth Day of January in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy five before the Worshipful Francis Simpson Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Worshipful Sir George Day Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Hannah Relph Widow the Relict of the deceased and sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer./-- Exd

George Relph was baptised 03 Aug 1722, St Peter & St Paul, Seal, Kent, born to George Relph and Margaret Cooper.
He married Hannah Terry, Spinster, 29 December 1746, St Mary the Virgin, Fawkham.
George died 10 December 1774, Darenth and was buried 26 December, 1774, Wrotham.
