In the name of God Amen I John Saffre of Ash son of William Safrey In the County of Kent yeoman being in bodyly Sicknes but in Remembrance praysed bee the lord for it I macke and ordayne this my laste will and Testament December the 02 1626 In maner and forme as followeth
Item first I give and bequeth my Soule to god my creator and my body to bured in the church yard of Ash

Also I macke and ordayne in this my last will and Testament Danel Saffrey my hole and sole Exacteter to this my last will and testement
Also I give and bequth to James Poute my Sesters Son one houce kiching one barne one orchard and five Ackers of land linge and being in the parish of Saint Peters and the Sayd James Pout to have it at eaithtene yeares of Age
Allso I give and bequeth John Poute my Sisters Son one houce barne and 6 Ackers and one Rod and 12 pearches of land lying and being in the parish of Burchington and the Sayd John Pout to heve it at the same Age as A fore sayd

Also I give and beequeth Elizabeth Pout my Sesters Dafter thirty poundes of good and lafull mony of England to bee payd har at har day of marige or at the Same age as A fore Sayd and more I give her one Chest with to pillowes and fouer pillow Coates and one tabel clothe and one dozon of napkines and one payer of sheetes one doson of Spones one doson of trenchers one dozen and a half handkarchers be sides my best and Shee to have the chest with thes thinges in it A weke after my decease

Also I give and bequeth to Will Care my Sesters Son five poundes of lafull mony of England to him at the Age as A fore Sayd
Also I give and beequeth to John Car my Sisters Son Ten poundes of lawfull monny of England to bee payde him at the age as afore sayd
and if any of the Sayd Children shoulde di beefore they Com to age James and John or Elizebeth that then thay Shall bee on anothers Exsactetters

and I give to my onckel John Safrey Twenty Shillens a yere frome my decease til his decease oute of my landes James 10 and John 10 per annum
I give to Will Safre Twenty shilens and to John Safrey his brother five poundes and to Osman one pound to be payd them one month after my decease
and I give to Sollomon Safrey fifty shilens and to Sary Safrey three poundes and ten Shilens
and I give to Sammuell Safry my leace of Six ackers of march land and hee to have it halfe a yeare after my desece

Also I give and bequeth to John Safrey Soon of Laurance Safrey Twenty Shillens and one shirt
and I give to Laurance Safrey his brother Twenty shillens to bee payd them within one month after my decece
and I give to goodman Chasmar the lease of Richborrowe
and I give to master Brigham Twenty Shillinges to preach at my funarall
and I give to Sara Muldred five Shillinges to be payd har one month after my decece
and I give to good wife Mons ten shillens to be payd har one weeke after my decece
and I give to the pore of the parish forty Shillinges to thirty of the poorest of them one month after my decece

in witnes hereof I Seet my hand and Sealle to this my last will and testement made the 29 of March 1637
