All that my Messuage known by the name of the Swan with Six Tenements adjoining thereto at the Mill Houses in the Parish of Minster in the Isle of Sheppy in the County of Kent together with all Interests or Shares in the Capital or joint Stocks of the Bank of England together with Sum or Sums of money whatever that may be owing me at my decease (except the Value of three Rings one for each of my Executors hereafter named which I request them to accept as a token of my respect for them and one to my brother John Saffery of Queenborough in Kent which I request him to accept as the only token it is in my power to leave him or his Family of the Love & Freindship I have for them) unto my Dear & beloved Wife Ann Saffery leaving unto her to make what Provision for our Family she may think Proper
observing in case she shall be disposed to marry again that our little Boy John Saffery shall have one half of the whole of such property as I may die possessed of ....... Provided no such Marriage taking place
And I do hereby nominate and appoint my good Friend Mr Bryan Bentham Merchant at ...... in the Isle of Sheppy in the County of Kent and my dear Brother John Weaver of Milk Street Cheapside to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills Testaments and Deeds of Gift by me heretofore made
And I do ordain and ratify these Presents to stand and be for and as my last Will and Testament In Witness
whereof to this my said Will I have set my hand and seal the twentieth of August
in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety six And in the
thirty fifth Year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Third over Great
