Viz that whereas my wife Ann Sales has already had and squandered away so much of my money goods and effects as fully amounts to what she may expect or demand from me at my decease and has for some time past eloped and gone from me without my privity or consent I therefore give and bequeath to her my said wife Ann Sales the sum of one shilling in full � and dower of all she may hereafter my decease demand or expect to have
And as for all the rest residue and remainder of my Worldly goods and effects whatsoever and wheresoever as ready money book debts bonds bills notes apparel and soforth after all my just debts and Funeral Charges be paid by my Executor hereinafter named I give and bequeath to my nephew Henry Sales of Down in the County of Kent aforesaid and I hereby nominate and appoint my said nephew Henry Sales sole and full Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former will and wills by me heretofore made

This will was proved at London the thirteenth day of December in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty two before Worshipful Andrew Coltee Ducarel Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Worshipful Peter Calvert Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Henry Sales the nephew of the deceased and Sole Executor named in the said will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer.
