Item I will that my executor shall paye yeerelie unto Ellin my wiffe during the terme of hir n[atu]rall liffe sixe poundes of lawfull
monie of England at fower feastes in the yeare viz the feastes of the nativitie of our lord Christe, the Annuticon [Annunciation] of our ladie,
the nativitie of St. John the Baptiste and St. Michael the Archangell by even porcons yearlie to bee paid
Item I do geve unto my said wiffe those ij featherbedds, ij bolsters, the silke or tapestrie covrlett and two blanketts, the which were my said
wives at or before hir mariage withe me
And I do also geve unto my saied wiffe the one halfe of all and singular my howsholde stuffe all which prmisses I
will shalbe delivred within fowerteene daies nexte after my decease
Provided allwaies that if my said wiffe do by Writte of Dower demand or claime anie dowrie or interest in anie the landes tenements or hereditamentes the which I latelie soulde to my sonne in lawe Thomas Cockett, That then she shall have or enjoie no benefitt or legacie by this my last will or testamente, anie thing therein conteined to the contrarie thereof in anie wise notwthstanding
Item I do geve unto my daughter Margaret Cockett Fortie shillinges of lawfull monie of England
and unto Marie, John, Willm and Martha the children of my said daughter Margarett unto everie of them Fortie shillinges a peece of like
monye
And my will and mind is that my executor shall within sixe weekes next after my decease paie into the handes of
my said sonne in lawe Thomas Cockett to and for the onlie benefitt of my said daughter Margarett
and hir said children the afforesaid sevrall legfacies of Fortie shillinges a peece to them so as afforesaid bequeathed
Item I do geve unto my daughter Margerie Harding Five poundes of like monie to bee paid unto hir in forme followinge, viz: thirtie three shillinges fower pence within one monethe nexte after my decease and other thirtie three shillinges fower pence before whitsontide nexte after my decease and thirtie three shillinges fower pence residue thereof before St. Michaell the Archangell then nexte followinge
Item I geve unto John Harding, my daughter Margerie hir sonne, Fortie shillinges of lawfull monie of Englande to bee paid to him when he
shall accomplishe his age of nineteene yeares
Item I do geve unto Marie Harding and Elisabethe Harding the children of the said Margerie my daughter five poundes a peece of like monie
to bee paid to ether of them when they shall accomplish their sevrall ages of twentie and one yeares
Item I do geve unto my daughter Sara Eaglestone thirtie poundes of lawfull monie of Englande
Item I do geve unto Caterine Eaglestone my said daughter Sara hir daughter my lease which I tooke of Mr. Thomas Engham she to have
the same when she shall accomplish his age of Twentie and one yeares
And if she die before she shall accomplish the said age then that the same shall remaine to such other children as my said daughter Sara shall have
And if my said daughter Sara happen to have a sonne, then I do give the said lease to the said sonne, he paieing to the said Caterine thirtie
poundes
and if the said Caterine do die before she shall accomplishe hir age afforesaid and my said daughter Sara then having no other children, then I do
geve the said lease unto my daughter Margaret Cockett hir children
Item I do geve unto Bent Bread my servannte tenne shillinges
Item I do geve unto Mr. Aileworthe to preache at my Buriall Eight shillinges
Item I do geve unto Henrie Harfleete, whome I do appointe to be my ovrseer of this my laste will or testamente for his paines herein to bee
taken xs
And I do will that my executor shall before he do undertake the probation of this my last will or testamente become bounden by one writing
obligatorie unto my said ovrseer in Fiftie poundes of lawfull monie of Englande with a condicon endorsed for the paieing and p[er]forminge of
the legacies conteined in this my laste will and testament and that according to the tenor and true meaninge hereof
And I do make and appointe Thomas Eaglestone my sonne in lawe my sole Executor of this my last will and testamente to whome I do geve all
my podware, one mare, ij geldinges, my carte and all and everie of their harnes[s]
The Residue of all my goodes and chattles whatsoever unbequeathed (my debts legacies and funrall dischardged and paid) I do geve and bequeath
unto my said daughter Sara Eaglestone

Daughter Margery Saltunstall married John Harding, both of Hartlip, Kent, at St. Michael & All Angels, Hartlip on 10 Sep 1582.
Daughter Sara Saltanstoll married Thomas Egellstone on 1 Dec 1594 at St. Peter, Sandwich, Kent.
