Item through the value and esteem I bear to my good Friend Mr. William Pembroke of the Parish of Barton under the Blen [Boughton-under-Blean] being well assured of his integrity and fidelity in the Trust I do here repose in him my Sole Ex[ecut]or In Trust for and to the only use and benefit of Ann Salmon formerly the Wife of Richard Salmon late of the Parish of Saint Laurence in the Isle of Tenet [Thanet] in the County of Kent Carpenter deceased all the Six Tenements Warehouses and Stables standing and being in Labour in Vain Yard in the Parish of Saint Mary Mounthaw upon Fish Street Hill in the City of London And also those Two Tenements standing and being in Noble Street in the said City of London, And also another Tenement joining to the same dwelling in Lillypott Lane within Aldersgate in the said City of London
Now my Will and meaning is that my said Executor or his Executors Admin[istrat]ors or Assigns shall and will pay or cause to be paid unto
the said Ann Salmon formerly the Wife of Richard Salmon aforesaid all the Rents and Profitts which shall or may become due and ariseing
from all and singular those Tenements, Warehouses and Stables before mentioned and all other my
Estate and Effects both real and personal which I am any ways intitled unto at the time of
my death so long as she the said Ann Salmon shall remain a Widow and unmarried to be paid unto
her by my said Executor by quarterly payments at the Four most usual Feasts or days of payment in the year (that is to say)
The Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary; the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist; Saint Michael
the Archangel and the Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ the first payment to begin and be made upon
any of those Feasts or days of payment which shall first happen after the time of my decease
And in case the said Ann Salmon do marry (and likewise at the time of her decease) then my Will and meaning is that my said Executor or his Ex[ecut]ors Adm[inistrat]ors or Assigns is free and clear and freely and clearly discharged of and from the Trust reposed in my said Executor by me as aforesaid
Item I then give and Bequeath after such decease or Marriage of the said Ann Salmon as aforesaid to my two Sons all those Tenements, Warehouses and Stables aforesaid standing and being aforesaid and all other my Estates both real and personal as the said Ann Salmon enjoyed at and from the time of my decease share and share alike to be equally divided between them my said two Sons Richard Salmon and Thomas Salmon and to their Heirs for ever
Provided (and my Will and meaning is) that the said Thomas Salmon shall pay or cause to be paid
to his Brother Richard Salmon Twenty pounds within Twelve Months after my decease out of his half part or Share
And further my Will is that he my said Son Thomas Salmon shall pay or cause to be paid (within the said limitted time of Twelve Months) to
his Sister Ann Salmon the Sum of Five shillings out of his said half part or share as aforesaid
Item and it is my further Will and meaning that in case either of my said two Sons shall happen to dye leaving no Issue lawfully begotten of his Body that then it shall and may be lawfull to and for the said Surviving Brother and the said Ann Salmon his Sister to possess and enjoy the said deceased Brothers Share or half part so given unto him by me as aforesaid to be equally divided between them Share and Share alike
And in case both my said Sons Richard Salmon and Thomas Salmon shall happen to dye leaving no Issue lawfully begotten of their Bodys Then it is my Will and meaning that my said Daughter Ann Salmon shall have possess and enjoy all those above mentioned Tenements Warehouses and Stables with all and every of their Appurtenances and all other my Estate both Real and Personall (which I shall or may be possessed of at the time of decease) to her and her Heirs for ever
And I do hereby constitute and appoint the above named William Pembroke my Sole Ex[ecut]or of this my last Will and Testament thereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me heretofore made and do publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Salmon to this my last Will and Testament contained in One
Sheet of Paper have set my hand and seal this Twenty fourth day of March in the Year of our Lord

the Relict and Substituted Residuary Legate named in the Last Will and Testament of Thomas Salmon late of Northfleet in the
County of Kent deceased to administer the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased according to the tenor of the said Will (for
that William Pembrooke he Sole Executor and Residuary Legatee In Trust has Renounced) being sworne duely to Administer.
