I direct that all my just debts funeral expences and the expences of proving this my Will be first paid and by my Executors hereinafter named I give and bequeath unto my dear Mother the sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to her without any deduction or abatement whatsoever
I give and bequeath unto my five Brothers and Sisters following (that is to say) George Rose Catherine Sarah and Susan the sum of eighty pounds each and in case of any or either of my said Brother and Sisters dying before the legacy or legacies of him her or them shall have become vested then I give and bequeath such legacy or legacies of him her or them so dying unto the Survivors or Survivor of them their his her or their Executors admors. [administrators] and assigns
I give and bequeath unto Edwin Peacock the Son of Priscilla Peacock of Saint Owen Street in the City
of Hereford the sum of fifty pounds
I give and bequeath unto James Lilwall Son of Elenor Lilwall of Oldcastle near Newport in the County
of Hereford the sum of fifty pounds
I hereby direct my Executors to pay the eight foregoing Legacies within six months next after my decease or sooner if they shall have got in and received sufficient money to enable them to do it being my express wish and instruction that such legacies shall be paid in full ad in priority to the legacies hereinafter by my given and bequeathed
I direct my said Executors to remit and send the said legacies hereinbefore by me given and bequeathed to my Mother Brother and Sisters under Cover to Roger Hall of Narrow Water House near Warrenpoint in the County of Down Ireland in order that he may pay the same to the persons then entitled to receive the same
And I do hereby expressly declare that my said Executors shall not be liable or accountable to my Estate or such legatees or either of them for any loss misapplication or other default for or in conssequence of my direction that such legacies be paid to the said Roger Hall and that his receipt for the same shall be a sufficient discharge to my said Executors
I give and bequeath unto my dear Friend Susan Scoles now of Egham in the County of Surry the sum of one hundred pounds
I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Ann Scoles daughter of the said Susan Scoles the sum of sixty pounds
I give and bequeath unto John Scoles Son of the said Susan Scoles the sum of twenty pounds
I give and bequeath Sarah Martha Scoles second daughter of the said Susan Scoles the sum of thirty pounds
and also I give and bequeath unto Susan Catherine Scoles third daughter of the said Susan Scoles the sum of Sixty pounds
And I direct that such said five legacies be paid by my Executor within twelve months next after my
decease or sooner if they shall possess above sufficient to pay them with
And as to all and singular the rest residue and remainder of my Real and Personal Estate of what nature and kind whatsoever and wheresoever situate not before by me given devised or bequeathed I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto Bartholomew Price Scoles another Son of the said Susan Scoles her heirs executors admors. and assigns for ever
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint James Bevan Meredith of Bank Chambers Lothbury London Gentleman and the said Bartholomew Price Scoles Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made

James Savage was buried at St. Mary, Eastwell on 11th June 1828, aged 38.
His christening - and that of his Brother and Sisters have not been found – possibly Ireland?
