In dei nominne Amen I John Serles of Wye in the dioc of Cantrbury in my hoole mynd and p[er]fite remembrance make and ordeyne this my pr[e]sent testament contenyng my Last will in this man[ne]r folowyng
First I bequeth my soule to almyghty God to our Lady Seynt Marye and to all the holy co[m]pany of heven, my body to be buried in the churche of Wye beside the seputure [sepulchre] of my Father

Item I will Alice Serles my mother and William Serles my brother have all my lands and ten[emen]ts as I may bequeith to the time of her naturall life And aft(er) her deceasse to remayne to my brethern equally to be devided among theym

The Residue of all my goods my detts and bequests paied I give and bequeith to Alice Serles my mother and William Serles my brother Whome I make myn executors of this my prsent testament and Last will
Also I will that my mother shall sell as muche of my lands as shalbe covenient to paye my detts and bequests at her free will
