This is the last Will and Testament of me Anthony Seymour of Sheerness in the Isle of Sheppey in the County of Kent, Bricklayer

I give and bequeath all my leasehold hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever and also all my household furniture, plate, linen, China and all other my household goods, ready money and securities for money and also All other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto
John Cullum the Elder of Maidstone, Kent, Accountant and John Cullum the Younger of Chatham, Kent, Law Stationer and their heirs, executors and administrators Upon trust in the first place to pay all my just debts, my funeral and testamentary expences
And then Upon trust to allow unto my Wife Mary the use of all household goods, plate, linen and china for and during the term of her natural life

And upon further trust to collect and get in all my leasehold estates and all the residue of my Personal Estate and invest the same in some real or government security in their names during the natural life of my said Wife and to pay to her during her natural life the interest, income and annual produce thereof to and for her own use and benefit
And from and after the decease of my said Wife Upon trust to stand possessed of all the residue of my said leasehold and personal estate, whether principal or interest, or income In trust
for Maria the wife of the said John Cullum the Elder for her own absolute use and benefit if she shall be then living

and in case she shall have departed this life either in my lifetime or after my decease before the death of my said Wife Then upon trust to stand possessed of all the residue of my said leasehold and personal estate, whether principal interest or income after the decease of my said wife Mary, Upon trust for all the children then living, including the said John Cullum the Younger of the said Maria Cullum, in equal parts, shares and proportions
except as to her Youngest daughter Jane who shall have double the share of the others, to and for their own absolute use and benefit

And I appoint the said John Cullum the Elder and John Cullum the Younger to be joint Executors of this my Will, and I revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be and contain my true last will and testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty seventh day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty eight

Signed by Knowles King of Maidstone, Kent, Solicitor as the last will and testament of the said Anthony Seymour, the Testator, in his presence and by his direction, in the presence of us present at the same time, who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses

Proved at London 29th Dec'r 1851, before the Worshipful Alfred Waddilove, Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oaths of John Cullum the Elder and John Cullum the Younger, the Executors, to whom Adm[inistrati]on was granted, having been first sworn duly to administer
An Interlocutory Decree having been first made and interposed for the velocity and force and validity of the said will and a Relaxation under Seal of the Court of the Judicial Committee of Her Majesty’s Council, having been first brought in
