In the name of God Amen I Richard Sharpie of the parish of Cranebrooke in the County of Kente Clothier being at this time of good and p[er]fect remembrance praysed be allmightie God but sicke in body doe make and ordeyne this my p[rese]nte last will and testamente the day and yeere above written in manner and forme following
Inprimis I committ my soule unto allmightie God whoe hath redeemed me from sines and from death by his deerly beloved sonne Jesus Christe by the merrits of whose death and passion I beleeve assuredly to enjoy eternall life and salvation my body I appoynt to be buried in the Churchyard of the parishe of Cranbrooke aforesayd whensoever it pleaseth God to take me out of this wretched life

Item my will and pleasure is that my brother John Sharpye whom I make Executor of this my p[rese]nt last will and testament shall have the disposing of all my goods after my decease in manner and forme following vizt
he to pay first out of the same all debts and duties whatsoever in regard of my funeralls or whatsoever else that I shall owe and after these debts this dischardges and he my sayd brother Cleered from all such bonds wch he standeth wth me or for me any way bownde for any somme or sommes to any p[er]son or psons then he the sayd Jo : Sharpie my brother to devide the remaynder of all my sayd goods betweene all my brothers & sisters after an equall manner reserving also unto him selfe accordingly togeather wth them alike equall porcon And thus finishing this my sayd will

Rychard Sharrpy sonne of Stevan a younge man, was buried on 23rd April 1609 at St. Dunstan, Cranbrook.
He was baptised 3rd March 1577, s. of Stephen Sharppe, at St. George, Benenden
