In the Name of God Amen I Robert Sherwood the Younger of Feversham in the County of Kent Gentleman being at present in Health of Body and of sound disposing mind memory and Understanding (Praised be God therefore) and considering the uncertainty of this Mortal Life Do make publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First and Principally I resign and recommend my Soul to God in hopes of attaining Remission of my Sins through Jesus Christ my Saviour And my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently Interred in Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named And as for my Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I give devise bequeath and dispose thereof as follows

Also my Will and Mind is that my just Debts be with all convenient speed after my decease fully paid and satisfied by my Executrix
I give and bequeath unto my Father Robert Sherwood one Shilling

Also I give and bequeath unto my Sisters Joyce Taylor Widow and Elizabeth Sherwood Spinster the Sum of Five Hundred Pounds and all Interest that shall be due at my decease for the same lawfull Money of Great Britain equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike
And my Will and Mind is that in case either of them shall happen to die Then the part or Share of her so dying I give to the Survivor of them

Also I give devise and bequeath unto my said Sisters Joyce Taylor and Elizabeth Sherwood Spinster and to their Heirs and Assigns for ever equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike All those my three several Messuages or Tenements with the Yards Gardens Backsides and Premises with their and every of their Appurtenances situate lying and being in a certain Place called Conduit Row in Feversham aforesaid Expectant on the death of my said Father Robert Sherwood and in the several Occupations of Richard Sharp Wiles and Pain Widow or one of them their or one of their Assigns or Undertenants

Also I give devise and bequeath unto my said Sisters Joyce Taylor and Elizabeth Sherwood and to their Heirs and Assigns for ever equally to be divided between them all that my Part Purpart or Share of and in that Messuage or Tenement Lands Hereditaments Orchard and Premises with the Appurtenances situate in a certain Place called Dargate in the Parish of Hearn Hill in the said County and in the Occupation of Thomas Goodwin or his Assigns Expectant on the death of my said Father Robert Sherwood

Also I give and bequeath unto my Sister Ann Wallar the Sum of ten Pounds to buy her Mourning

All the rest residue and remainder of all and singular my Personal Estate and Effects Wearing Apparel both Linnen and Woolen Books and all and every part of and Monies Lands Hereditaments and Premises that I now am or shall be interested in or intitled unto at the time of my decease (my Debts Legacies Funeral Expences and other Expences in this my Will being first paid and discharged) I give devise and bequeath unto my said Sisters Joyce Taylor and Elizabeth Sherwood and to their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike

And I do hereby make constitute and appoint my said Sister Joyce Taylor full and sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made and executed

In Witness whereof I the said Robert Sherwood have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Eighth day of May in the twenty third Year of the Reign of King George the second over Great Britain and so forth and in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty Robt Sherwood Junr
