This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Shoobridge of Rolvenden in the County of Kent made published and --------- the twenty fourth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven First I order that my just debts funeral expenses --------- ---------- of proving this my Will and other incidental expenses shall be fully paid and satisfied in as soon as conveniently as may be after my decease And I appoint my Nephew John Shoobridge of Lamberhurst in his said County the sole Executor of this my Will

And I direct that the whole of the property Real and Personal which I may possess or be entitled to at the --------- of my decease then as soon as conveniently may or after my decease be put out to interest by my Executor on -------- --ority as he shall think fitting and cost without his ------ responsibility for any -------- that may be --------- thereby and the interest or income arriving therefrom I order to be paid quarterly to my Son Thomas Shoobridge and my Daughter Eliza the wife of James Hodman of Rolvenden aforesaid in equal shares between them during their respective lives

And after the death of my said Son and Daughter I give and bequeath one half part of my said property to the Child or Children lawfully begotten of my said Son to be equally divided amongst them share and share alike when the youngest shall have attained the age of twenty one years and as for the other half part of my said property I give and bequeath the same to the Child or Children lawfully begotten by my said Daughter to be equally divided amongst then share and share alike when the youngest shall have attained the age of twenty one years

And should either my said Son or Daughter die before his or her youngest Child or Children shall have attained the age of twenty one years then I order that the half part of the ----- above or ------ whilst my said Sone or Daughter would have been entitled to if living shall be paid by my Executor towards the bringing up of their Child or Children of my said Son or Daughter as -------- And should either my said Son or Daughter die leaving no Children ------fully or should the Child or Children of him or her my Son or Daughter die under the age of twenty one years then I give and bequeath the whole of my said property to the Child or Children of the other of them my said Son or Daughter to be equally divided amongst them when the youngest shall have attained the age of twenty one years

And should neither my said Son or Daughter leave any Child or Children lawfully begot or should the Child or Children of them both my said Son and Daughter die before the age of twenty one years then I give and bequeath the whole of my property aforesaid to my ------ Edward Shoobridge of Rolvenden aforesaid or to his heirs and ----- thereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time ----- made and [declare] this only to be my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this day and year ------ first written Mary Shoobridge (SS) Signed sealed published and [declared] by the said Mary Shoobridge the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence and the request and the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto

Proved At London 9th February 1838 before the Worshipfull John ------ of Laws and Surrogate by the Oath of John Shoobridge the Nephew the sole Executor to whom Abutory was granted having been first sworn to administrator
