In the name of God Amen the thirtieth day of June 1636
I William Sills being in indifferent good health of body and in perfect remembrance I prayse God for it doe make and ordeyne this my last will and testament in manner and form folloing
First I give and bequeath my grecious Soul into hands of Allmyhttie God that hath created and made it and to my blesed saviour Jesus Christ who hath redeemed mee by his blesed sufferings for mee and to the holy Ghost that doeth allways comfort and strengthen mee
And my body to the earth from where it came in assured that God will rayse it agayn at the last day to glory with his saynts in heaven
And for thee worldly goods that God in mercie hath given mee I bequeath them in this manner

First I give unto maister? Phillips six and twentie shillings and eight pence to be payd to him within six month after my decease
Itim I give unto my sister Scislie Bantoff five pounds to be payd to her within twelve months after my decease Iff shee be living
Itim I give unto my Coussen Marie Francis five pounds to be payd to her within twelve months after my decease

Itim I give unto Jane my wiff all my goods and chatells what soever and whersoever that are moveables if shee overlive mee when all my debts and these former legasis be payd first out of them
Itim I give unto Jane my wiff all the Rents of all my lands and tennaments during the tyme of her naturall liff shee keeping of them all well and sufficiently repayred and amended
Itim I give unto my daughter Mary Croft? All my lands and tennaments whearsoever they bee to her and the heyres of her body lawfully begotten to remayn to her and them for ever after the death of Jane my wiff

Itim my will is that if my daughter Mary Croft? Doe depart this lif before her husband Henrie Croft and leaves no iseu? Child or children behynd her borne of her body that then her husband Henrie Croft shall have all the Rents of all my houses and lands dureing his naturall liff hee keeping of them well and sufficiently repayred from tym to tym and at all tyms

And after his if it pleaseth God soe to deall with them my will is that all my lands and tennaments he... hyred? and by thee mayor and Jurats of Faversham and by the many? toil? of thee same to the most proffit and all the Rents to be bestowed to keeping of as many poor chidren to scooll to learn to read english as the will pay for their scooling

This is my last will written with my own hand and sealled with my seall this thirtieth day of June 1636 Itim I make my sonn Henrie Crofft my full and wholl Executor of this my will and testament

Notes: Will Sills & Joan Lee married 28 Apr 1605 at Faversham
They appear to have severall children who died as infants.
Henry Croft & Marie Sills married 13 Nov 1634 at Faversham
Willyam Sills died of plague and was buried 5 Jul 1636.
Jane Silles, widow was buried 6 Apr 1637 and left an inventory and a will
