In the Name of God Amen I Richard Slaughter of Greenwich in the County of Kent, Gentleman being of sound mind and memory do make and constitute this my last Will and Testament in manner following, namely

I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife Sarah Slaughter the rents and profits arising from all my Freehold and Leasehold houses and Tenements of every description for her sole use and benefit during her life with full power over and use of the House in which I now reside, situate in or near East Street, Greenwich
I also give & bequeath to my said Wife Sarah Slaughter all monies and annuities of every kind which may belong to me at the time of my decease or become due to my estate after my decease

I also give & bequeath to my said Wife Sarah Slaughter all my Household Furniture and Effects comprising also plate, money and Books with every other article of property in my possession or to which I may be lawfully entitled at the time of my demise for her sole use and benefit

And I hereby make and constitute my said Wife Sarah Slaughter sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal on this twenty first day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty three and in the third year of the Reign of His Majesty King William the Fourth

Proved at London the 5th March 1834 before the Judge by the Oath of Sarah Slaughter Widow the sole Executrix to whom Admon. was granted having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer.
