In the name of god amen the First day of December 1595 and in the XXXViijth [=38th] yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Ladye Queen Elizabeth
I Willm Smithsonne of the parish of Winningweld in the Countie of Kent yoman sycke in bodye But of good and perfect remembrance praysed be god therefore doe make and ordeine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following
First I bequeath my sowle into the handes of Allmightie god hopinge to be saved by the death and blood shedinge of Jesus Christe and by noe other means And as for my bodye I will the same to be buried at the discretion of mine executor

Itm I give and bequeath unto Mary Younge the now Wif of William Younge of Winningeweld [=Womenswold] the somme of X L [£10] of lawfull English money
The residew of all and singular my goods Chattells & debtes Whatsoever my detts and legacyes first contented and paid and ...? my William Denn of Kingstone whom I make sole executor of this laste will and testament

And as touching my houses lands Tenements Annuities and all other & all other my hereditaments wheresoever w’thin the realme of England I will and give the same unto the said William Denn To have and to hould to him & his heires forever and Evidence chartes deeds & writings concerning the same

And I doe hereby revoke all former wills & testaments
Reading & declaracon hereof [witnesses] John Nethersole, Vincent Nethersole & John Johnson
