In the name of God Amen I Thomas Smith of East Sutton in the County of Kent yeoman being in body sound and of good and perfect memory praysed bee Almightie God Doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testam�t in manner forme followinge that is to say
First and principally I will and bequeath my soule unto Almightie God my Creator and Jesus Christ my redeemer through whose death and passion I hope to attaine everlastinge life, and my body to the dust from whence it was taken
And as and concerninge my goods and chattles this is the last will and Testam�t of me Thomas Smith

Imprimis I bequeath unto the fower children of George Moore of the parish of Goutherst in the County of Kent Carryer Twentie pounds of lawfull money of England to bee payd by my Executrix unto each of the fower said children five pounds apeece within one whole yeare next after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto Robert Moore of the parish of Staplehurst brother to the aforesaid George Moore Ten shillings of like lawfull money of England to bee payd by my Executrix within one whole yeare next after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto John Smith of the parish of Staplehurst in the aforesaid County of Kent Ten pounds of like lawfull money of England to bee payd unto him by my Executrix within one whole yeare next after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Methurst now wife of John Methurst of the parish of Staplehurst five pounds of good and lawfull money of Engalnd to bee payd unto her by my Executrix within one whole yeare next after my decease

Item I bequeath unto Elizabeth Bassock my servant and kinswoman the summe of Ten pounds of good and lawfull money of England to bee payd unto her by my Executrix when shee shall attaine the age of one and Twentie yeares or day of marriage w�ch shall first happen
Further my will and meaninge that the aforesaid Elizabeth Bassock shall have the halfe headed? Bedstead with a flocke bed and paire of good sheets two blancketts two bolsters and Coverled mat and Cord standinge and beinge in the hall chamber to bee delivered unto her by my Executrix at the age of twentie one yeares or day of Marriage as aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath unto George Hamman of Smarden in the County of Kent Baylift father of George the younger and by trade a Tayler the summe of five pounds to bee given him by my Executrix within one whole yeare next after my decease

Lastly I make and ordaine Katherine Smith my deare and lovinge wife my sole Executrix over all my goods and chattles now in my possession or else where, Conditionally paying all my debts and legacies findinge and payinge all my funerall charges

This is my last will and Testam�t of mee the above Thomas Smith
