In the name of God Amen The twentye daye of December, In the yeare of our Lord God a thousand fyve hundred lxij [1562]
I Rychard Solly of the p'yshe of Wyinghm beinge sycke in boddy, But thankes bee unto Allmighty God of good & p'fect memory, doe ordaine & make thys my present testament & last Wyll in manner & forme here followinge
Fyrst & princypally, I give & bequeathe my soule unto Allmighty God the father of heavin, And unto Jesus charyst hys only begotten sonn; my Savyer & Redemer; By Whose most preycyous deathe & blood sheadinge I trust to be saved; & my boddy to be buryed Where yt shall pleas Almighty God

Item fyrst I give and bequeathe to the p'yshe church of Wynghm to make a glas Wyndow wthall xxxL [£30]
Item I give 1L more unto the church of Wynghm [for] the making of two pewes to bee doone by my Executors
Item I give to the poore Chylren of the p'yshe xL

Item I give & bequeath unto Edmond Sollyes three Chyldren, that ys to saye, Michaell Solly, Wyllm Solly & Alice Solly xxL a pece
Item I give & bequeath into Edmond Solly at Michaellmas next Comynge fyve yardes of land, more or les, lyinge & beinge now in Elmestone

Item I give & bequeath unto three of John Sollyes chyldren; that ys to say, unto Joann Solly, Elizabeth Solly & Sylvester Solly xL a pece
Item I give unto George Hylls iijs iiijd
Item I give unto Simon Sollyes Wyf, Agnes Solly, iijs iiijd

Item I give and bequeath the Resydwe of all my sayd goods to John Solly & Simon Solly, Whome I make & Ordaine to bee my full Executors of thys my present testament & last Wyll, to see my boddy honestly brought to the yerthe [earth] & my legacys payd

Item I give & bequeath unto Harry James thelder vL to bee the Overseer of thys my preset Testament, contayning therein my last Wyll, to see yt fulfylled and p'formed
