In the name of God Amen
I William Solly of the pishe [parish] of Woodnesborow als. Wuisborow in the County of Kent Yeoman being sick in body but of good and p'fect memorie (thankes be given to Almighty God for the same) doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following
First I will and bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker, expecting salvacon only by my Redeemer Jesus Christ
And my body I comend to the earth to be buried in the Churchyard of the pishe of Ashe neere my brothers there at the discretion of my executors hereafter named

Item whereas Sara my daughter now the wife of Thomas Huges and the Said Thomas dwelleth in the Farme at Shatterling which I hire? of Mr. Thomas Denn of Canterbury and occupie the same Farme I doe give unto the said Sara my daughter All my right and Interest of and in the same farme And all my time herein to come And I doe also give unto her all my right title and Interest to all the Corne and Stock whatsoever imployed about the same farme

Item whereas I have one Annity [Annuity] or yearly rent of five pounds of Lawfull mony out of the land of Richard Solly my brother at Nash in the said p'ish I doe give the said Annity or yearly rent and all my right title and Interest to the same from and after the death of Jane my Sister, now the wife of Edward Piper, unto Elizabeth Solly my youngest daughter and to her heires and Assignes forever
And if in case the said Elizabeth Shall not enjoy the said Annity according to my will then I give unto her the sume of fifty pounds of lawfull mony of England to bee paid unto the said Elizabeth imediatly after shee shall be denyed the said Annity

Item I give unto William Solly my youngest sonne (All) That my Tenement or dwelling house, the barne, stable, outhouses, gardens, yards & Three peeces or parcells Errable [Arable] land and brooke with appurtenncs [the appurtenances] Contayning In estimacon eleaven acres more or lesse set, lying and beeing in the p'ish of Staple in the said County of Kent and now in the occupacon of Thomas Mumbry or his assiges from and after the decease of Elizabeth my now wife and to the heires of his body lawfully begotten

Item I give unto Elizabeth my now wife one Annity or yearly rent of Ten pounds of Lawfull mony of England to be issueing and goeing out of all That my Tenement or dwelling house, the barne, stable, orchard, Garden plaice and all the errable and brook lands thereunto belonging or appertayning or therewith letten Contayning by estimacon Thirty acres more or lesse, set, lying and beeing at Holden [Hoaden] in the said pishe of Ashe and now in the occupacon of John Taffery? or his assignes to bee paid unto her at two of the fowre most usual feast dayes in the yeare, That is to Say
At the feast of St. Michael and Thannutiation of our Blessed Lady the Virgin St. Mary; the first payment thereof to begin at the first of the said feasts next after my decease
And if default shall bee made of the payment thereof unto her as aforesaid Then it shall bee Lawfull for her or her assignes to enter upon the farms or any part thereof and to distraine for the same

Item I give and bequeath the said Tenement or dwelling house, the barne, stable, orchard, Garden, yards, place and all the errable and brook lands thereunto belonging Contayning by estimacon Thirty acres more or lesse with Thappurtenncs unto the said Stephen Solly my sonne and to the heires of his body Lawfully begotten and for want of such issue unto the said William Solly my sonne and to the heires of his body Lawfully begotten

I give unto the said Elizabeth my wife for and dureing the terme of her naturall life the Tenement and Lands before given unto my sonne William and now in the occupacon of Mumbry shee doeing nor Comittig noe wast upon the same

Item all the residue of my moveables and p'sonall estate I give and bequeath unto the said Elizabeth my wife and the said Steven my sonne and doe make them joynt execut [executors] of this my last will and Testament, They paying and discharging all my debts whatsoever And I doe also give unto them the profits of the said Annity given unto my daughter Elizabeth for and dureing the life of the said Jane my Sister

And I doe make my Cosen Stephen Solly of Paramore Street in Ashe and Richard his brother Overseers of this my will

Item I give and bequeath all That Tenement or dwelling house wth the ground and appurtennces Thereunto belonging set lying and beeing in Ashe Streete in the said pish of Ashe and now in the occupacon of Widdow Crismass, Thomas Crowner and widdow Ducket unto the said Sara my daughter and her heires forever

In Witnes whereof I the said William Solly have hereunto set my hand and seale and doe hereby revoke all former wills by mee made, dated the seaven and Twentieth day of August in the Tenth yeare of the raigne of our Sovraigne Lord Charles by the Grace of God now King of England And etc. Anno dni 1634.
