In the name of God Amen this xxviiijth [29th] day of May Anno dini 1661
I Stephen Soly of Ickham being sicke in body But sound in mind (praised be God) doe make and ord[a]ine this my last Will and testam[en]t in manner and forme Following
First I bequeath my soule into the handes of God that made it and to my saviour Christ who hath redeemed it and my body to bee buried at the discrecon of my Executors

Item I give unto Elizabeth my beloved Wife all that Messuage or tenement with Foure acres of land lying in the parish of Wingham now in the tenor [tenure] or occupacon (of) Goodman Sheron or his assigns dureing her n[atu]rall life
And if she shalbe now w[i]th child to that heire for ever
But my aboves[ai]d wife be not wth child I give my abovesd house and land unto Stephen Solly sonne of John Solly now liveing at Weare in Ashe next [Sandwich]

And after the decease of my Unkle Measday I give all that messuage or tenem[en]t lyeing in Weare in the p[ar]ish of Ashe aforesaid unto John Solly my Brother John Solly’s sonne

And I give unto my Sister Brice the Sume of forty shillings to be paid wthin one moneth after my decease
Item I give unto my Cosin Martha Bax tenn shillings to be paid wthin two moneths after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto Mr. Charles White five pounds to be paid wthin one moneth after my decease

Item I give unto Eliz: Solly and Ann Solly, daughters of John Solly of Weare in Ash aforesd one press & one table that were formerly wth them & now are in my dwelling house in Ickham
Item I give unto Michaell Solly Sonne of John Solly, one Sworme of Bees Standing wth Stephen Clevaflands in Ash
Item I give unto Elizabeth Terry daughter to Thomas Terry of Preston One Hooke and one Sworme of Bees and five pounds of to be p[ai]d unto her wthin two moneths after my decease
Item I doe give unto the poore people of this Street of Brambling of this Street tenn shillings
& to the wife of Stephen Tucker five shillings liveing in the same streate

Item I make & ordaine my Executors to this my last Will & Testamt my welbeloved wife & to her I give & bequeath all moveable goods my debts & legacies being paid by her
Lickwis [likewise] to be Overseers of this my Last Will & Testamt

In Witnes whereof I have sett to my hand & seale this twenty ninth day of May 1661
