This is the Last Will and Testament of me Margaret Solly of Ramsgate in the Isle of Thanet in the County of Kent Spinster being of sound and disposing mind and memory

First I give and bequeath all my Wearing Apparel of all sorts to my Nieces Mercy Wife of Robert Grant, Jane Wife of James Lee, Mary Wife of James Goodbrand and Susanna Wife of Richard Fagg equally to be divided between them share and share alike

And as for and concerning all my Monies and Securities for Money, Stocks in the Publick Funds, Plate, Linnen, Household Furniture, Effects, Goods, Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever (after payment of my just debts and Funeral Charges) I give and bequeath the same unto the said Mercy Wife of Robert Grant, Jane Wife of James Lee, Mary Wife of James Goodbrand and Susanna Wife of Richard Fagg equally to be divided between them share and share alike

And I appoint the said Susanna Fagg sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the fifteenth day of August in the twenty eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said Margaret Solly the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have here subscribed our Names in her presence

I the above named Margaret Solly the Testatrix do give and bequeath unto my Sister Sarah Osborn the sum of one shilling

This Will was Proved at London with a Codicil on the fourth day of December in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight before the Worshipful James Henry Arnold, Doctor of Laws, Surrogate of the Right Honourable Sir William Wynne, Knight, Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Susanna Fagg (Wife of Richard Fagg) the Niece of the deceased and sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and credits of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer.
