In the Name of God Amen I Henry Spilsted of the Parish of Shoreham in the County of Kent Inholder being of perfect sound and memory doe make this my last Will and Testament

Imprimis I doe give will and bequeath unto my only Daughter Margarett and her Heires for ever all my Houses Lands and Tenements whatsoever in the said Parish of Shoreham
And I doe also give unto my said Daughter two third parts of all my personall estate whatsoever except twenty pounds of Money the which I give to Anne my wife

And I doe also except out of my Lands and Tenements the Cottage or Tenement wherein George Rootes now lives
and doe make Anne Spilsted my full and whole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

In witnesse whereof I have sett my hand and seal this fourth day of March in the second yeare of King James of England xt Annoq Dm 1685/6./The marke of Henry Spilsted/ Signed sealed and published in the presence of
