In the name of God Amen the xxth [20th] day of April in the yeare of our Lorde God a thowsand xlvjt [1546]
I Nycholas Spraklyn of the p[ar]ishe of Sainte Laurence in thylie [the Isle] Thanet being sicke in body and hole of mind doo make and ordeyne this my prsente testamente and Laste will in manr and forme folowinge
Fyrste I bequeth my soule to God almightye and blessed lady and to all tholly [the holy] company of heaven And my body to be buryed in the church yeard of Sainte Laurence a bove saide

Item I bequethe to the highe aulter for my tythes forgotten xijd
Item I bequethe to my brother Roberte Spraklyn my barley That I shoulde have of Roberte Spraklyn of Newlande
and my wheat that I should have of the said Roberte I gyve yt to my brother Roberte Wells

All the Resydue of my goodes moveable before not bequethed I gyve and bequethe them unto Robert Wells my brother
And the saide Roberte to se(e) me honestely buryed And he to bestowe at his dyscretion And to se(e) this donne
I ordeyne and make the saide Roberte Wells my sole execut(or)

And as concernynge my p[ar]te of the tenamente and Landes Lyenge in Ramsgate in the pishe abovesaide whiche came by my mother and is nowe betwene my brother Spraklyn and me, and my pte of the too and a half (acres?) Lyenge in Ramsgate whiche came by my father I gyve and bequethe my saide p[ar]tes clearly unto my syster Johane, Roberte Wells wiff in fee simple for ever more
