First I doe give and bequeath unto my grandsonn Leonard Spurling twelve pence of lawfull money to be paid him on demand
And I doe order and appointe him to pay unto my said Executrix the sume of ten pounds which he promised to
pay unto me for such goods and bedding as I lent him Or if he refuse soe to doe then I doe order him to deliver all my goods and bedding unto my
said Executrix within one month after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my grandsonn William Spurling one Feather bed and one Feather boulster whereon I comonly lye being in the
Shop in my now dwelling house to be delivered to him by my Executrix when hee comes in person and demands the same of her
But if he dye before hee shall demand the same then I give the said bed and boulster to said Executrix
And whereas after the decease of my eldest sonn Edward Spurling Hee owing me money at the time of his decease and hee leaving Four Children and three of them small I did not take out Letters of Admon of his estate (which was not sufficient to pay and satisfy his debts and bring up his children) and did take his personall estate and have payd his debts therewith and with my owne money and estate in a great measure brought up my said grandchildren and placed out some to Trades And did turn over my goods in my Shopp to my eldest grandsonn Edward Spurling And hee hath had the use of my Shopp and his dwelling in my house for diverse yeares last past which I doe release unto him But for what money hee owes me on Bond and what money I have bin bound for him and have paid for him which my Counter bonds and the bonds which I have taken upp for him will make appeare I doe will order and appointe my said grandsonn Edward Spurling to pay and satisfye the same unto my said Executrix to whome I doe give the same
All the rest and residue of my goods and household stuffe (which were heretofore my said sonn Edward Spurling�s for which I have so dearly payd) and all other my goods chattells bonds bills plate money debts and personall estate (and that Bond which my grandsonn Edward Spurling hath of mine made to me from Mr Christopher Hodson for about sixteen pounds after my debts legacies and Funerall expences shall be first payd I doe wholly give and bequeath unto my said Granddaughter and Executrix Sarah Spurling
And I doe give and devise all my third parte and purpose of all that my Messuage Backhouse and lands with the appurtenances now in the occupation of Thomas Scriven and of all that Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances wherein the widdow Christian now dwelleth situate and being in St Mary Cray aforesaid unto my said Granddaughter Sarah Spurling and to her Heyres and Assignes for ever
And lastly I revoke all former Wills by me made and appointe this to be my last Will
