Memorandum that on the seaventeenth day of May in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand seaven hundred and Six
William Standen of Goudhurst in the County of Kent Yeoman lying sick att his Dwelling house in Goudhurst aforesaid of the sicknesse he so on after dyed being of a good disposeing mind memory and understanding did in the presence and heareing of Richard Thorpe Senr Richard Thorpe Junr and Richard Newnham nuncupate make utter and declare his last Will and Testament in these or like words in effect following Vizt.

All that I have in the World after the payment of my Just Debts I give and bequeath unto my Nephew William Standen Sonn of my brother John Standen
And I desire that my said Brother John Standen may have the management thereof for his said Sonn dureing his minority

All which words or words to the like effect he the said William Standen being at all and singular the premisses aforesaid of a good disposeing mind memory and understanding did utter and declare with an intent the same should be and be taken for and as his last Will and Testament nuncupative in the psence and hearing of the Witnesses above named and desired them or some of them to take notice or bear Witnesse of the same or used Words to that effect

In Testimony whereof Wee the Witnesses then present have subscribed our Names this five and twentieth day of September in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand seaven hundred and Six haveing formerly Subscribed our Names to a paper drawne up and put into Writing of the Words uttered by the said William Standen on the same day they were spoken
