In the Name of God Amen I John Standen Senr of the Parish of West Farleigh in the County of Kent Carpenter being weak in Body but (Praised be God) of sound and Perfect mind Memory and Understanding Do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)

First I order and direct that all my just Debts and Funeral Expences be paid and discharged by my Executor herein after named and after payment thereof
I give and bequeath unto my Son William Standen of the Parish of St Marylebone in the County of Middlesex Carpenter the Sum of Five Shillings
Also I give and bequeath unto my Son Thomas Standen of the Parish of St Marylebone aforesaid in the County of Middlesex Carpenter the Sum of Five Shillings

Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary the Wife of John Pike of Queen Square Moorffields in the County of Middlesex aforesaid Victualler the Sum of Five Shillings
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Phebe Wife of William Mason of the Parish of Rochester in the County of Kent aforesaid Carpenter the Sum of Five Shillings
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Wife of Joseph Wood of the Parish of Clapham in the County of Surry Carpenter the Sum of Five Shillings

Also after the Payment of all my just Debts Funeral Expences the Probation of this my Will the Legacies herein before given (which said Legacies I order and direct to be paid by my Executor at the time of my decease) I give and bequeath unto my Son John Standen of the Parish of West Farleigh aforesaid Carpenter his Heirs Exors Admors and Assigns all and every the rest residue and remainder of my ready Money and Securities for Money whatsoever and wheresoever
Also all my Stock in Trade Working Implement of every sort and kind Goods Chattels and Effects whatsoever & wheresoever likewise all Monies due and owing unto me on Book or otherwise on the following Conditions

that he my said Son John Standen his Heirs Executors Admors or Assigns shall find and provide for my wife Sarah Standen sufficient Meat Drink Lodging and decent Apparel during the time of her natural life
Also if my said wife should not chuse to live with my said Son John Standen his Heirs or Assigns Then my Will is for my said my said Son John Standen his Heirs or Assigns to allow my said Wife the Sum of Six Shillings per Week during the time of her natural life

And I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint my said Son John Standen full and sole Executor of this my Will
And Lastly I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made And I do declare this only to be and contain my whole and entire last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said John Standen Senior (the Testator) to this my last Will and Testament (contained in this one Sheet of Paper) have set my Hand and Seal this eighteenth day of September in the Year of Our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and ninety three John Standen Senior
