In the Name of God Amen I Godfrey Stidolph the Elder of Bromley in the County of Kent nurseryman do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in Writing in manner following that is to say

I order and direct that all my just debts and my funeral and testamentary expences shall be paid and satisfied out of the residue of my personal estate hereinafter bequeathed to my son Godfrey Stidolph and that as soon as conveniently can be after my decease

And I nominate and appoint my said son Godfrey Stidolph And my friend Robert Martin Smith of Bromley aforesaid builder Executors of this my Will
And I give to the said Robert Martin Smith the Sum of Five Pounds in consideration of the trouble he may have in the execution of the trusts in this my Will

Also I give and bequeath unto my son William Stidolph all that my leasehold estate containing by estimation six acres of Nursery Ground more or less situate near Bromley Workhouse which I rent and hold of the trustees of the Parish of St Mary Aldermary London To hold the same with the plantations sheds easements and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him my said son William Stidolph his executors administrators and assigns subject to the payment of the yearly rent and performance of the several covenants reserved in the lease by which I hold the same

Also I give and bequeath unto my said son Godfrey Stidolph and Robert Martin Smith the legacy or Sum of two hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain upon trust to be by them or the survivor of them his executors and administrators paid and applied in equal fourth parts unto and amongst the several persons and at the times hereinafter mentioned (that is to say)
one equal fourth part thereof to the six children of my son Henry Stidolph by his first Wife Susanna Stidolph deceased
One other fourth part thereof to the two children of my late son Davey Stidolph
one other fourth part thereof to my son John Stidolph
and the remaining one fourth part thereof to my daughter Fanny the wife of Thomas Simmonds
And I direct that one moiety of the said legacy be paid in twelve months after my death to such of my said legatees as shall then be of the age of twenty one Years and the other moiety thereof in four years after my death and to such of them as shall not then have attained that age when and as they shall respectively attain the age of twenty one years after the times of one year and four years after my decease as aforesaid

and subject to the payment of my said legacies and to the payment of all my just debts and my funeral and testamentary expenses All the rest and residue of my monies book debts stock in trade goods chattels effects and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever I do hereby give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto him my said son Godfrey Stidolph his executors and Administrators to and for his and their own use and benefit

And hereby revoking all other Wills by me made I declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Godfrey Stidolph the Testator have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the fifteenth day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventeen _ Godfrey Stidolph
