In the name of God Amen I Stephen Stringer of the Parish of Ripple in the County of Kent Yeoman being Mindful of my Mortality do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in the Manner and form following (that is to say) ffirst I give and Bequeath unto my Loving Wife Elizabeth Stringer the Sum of five shillings and no more She being Sufficiently provided for by a Bond entered into by me for that purpose before our intermarriage

also I Give and Bequeath unto my Son William Stringer the Sum of one Hundred pounds of Lawfull Money of Great Britain ffifty pounds part thereof to be paid within one Month after my Decease And the other ffifty Pounds Residue thereof to be paid within Twelve Months next after my Decease

Also I give to my Daughter Elizabeth the Wife of Avery Child the Sum of one pound and one shilling
to my daughter Catherine the Wife of Matthew Warman the sum of Two pounds and two shillings
to my Daughter Sarah the Wife of John Morris the Sum of one pound and one shilling
to my Daughter Mary Stringer Spinster the Sum of two pounds and two shillings and Six pairs of my best sheets
And my daughter Susanna Stringer the Sum of two pounds two shillings and Six pairs of my next best sheets
the said Several and respective Legacies to my said Daughters to be paid and Delivered within on Month next after my Decease

And as to all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels Effects Debts due and owing to me Money Securities for my Money and all other my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what kind or Nature soever the same may be my just Debts ffuneral; Expenses and Legacies herein before mentioned being thereout first paid and deducted I give and Bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Son Stephen Stringer and I nominate and Appoint my said Son Stephen Stringer full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and Lastly I Revoke all former Wills By me made IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the first day of October in the Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second (?Third) by the Grace ?missing text? Britain rex And in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty One Stephen Stringer SIGNED Sealed Published and Declared by the said Stephen Stringer the Testator so and for his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us
