Whereas my three daughters
Ann (the wife of Hartley Hicks of Hackney in the County of Middlesex, Surgeon),
Ruth Rockliffe of Gillingham in the County of Kent Widow
and Mary the Wife of James Laemude? of Strood in the said County of Kent, Shipwright
are sufficiently provided for in my life I therefore give and bequeath unto each of my said daughters the Sum of Five pounds
of lawfull British Money only to be paid and payable to them by my Executors hereinafter named within Six Months next after my decease
And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my real and personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever the same may be and consist of at the time of my decease (except my watch which I give my Son George Box Stroud) I Give, devise and bequeath the same unto my two Sons the said George Box Stroud and Henry Stroud equally divided between them (share and share alike) and to their and each of their heirs Executors Adm[inistrat]ors and Assigns absolutely for ever
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Sons Henry Stroud and George Box Stroud joint Executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me at any times heretofore made, and I hereby declare this only to be my last will and testament

This Will was Proved at London the twenty seventh day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and four before the Worshipful Samuel Pearce Parson, Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Knight, Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, lawfully constituted by the Oaths of Henry Stroud and George Box Stroud the Sons of the deceased and the Executors named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, having been first sworn duly to administer.
