This is the Last Will and Testament of me John Stubbs of the Royal Navy now living in the Parish of Saint Margarets Rochester in the County of Kent being of sound mind and disposing memory

do give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Elizabeth Stubbs all and every part of my real and personal property that may be standing in my Name joint with my said Wifes Elizabeth Stubbs Name of the Books of the Governors and Company of the Bank of England In the Five per cent long Annuities at the time of my decease

I also give and bequeath unto my said beloved Wife Elizabeth Stubbs all my three Leasehold houses situate in Meadow Lane in the Parish of Stroud in the County of Kent and now in the occupation of William Pooley George Parrott and William Bladen And of Rochester and Parish of Saint Nicholas now in the Occupation of Charles Gillman and William Briggs for her own sole and absolute use and benefit

I also give and bequeath unto my said beloved Wife Elizabeth Stubbs all and singular my ready money monies in the public Stocks or Funds or may be due unto me upon mortgage Bond Bill Note or otherwise at the time of my decease and also all my household Furniture Plate linen China with all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kindsoever the same doth shall or may consist or which may be due owing or belonging to me at the time of my decease in or through any right ways or means whatsoever for her own sole and absolute use and benefit

And Lastly I do hereby Nominate constitute and appoint my said beloved Wife Elizabeth Stubbs sole Executrix of this my said Will and do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said John Stubbs have to this my last Will and testament contained in this single sheet of paper wrote on this side only set my hand and seal this first day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and twenty two John Stubbs
