Item: To my grandchild William Whiteing all such oaken timber here or shall be growing in my lands of Maidstone and Boxley at the age of 20 and for three to four years after he reaches that age and he shall be entitled to carry away in wagons, carriages or other convenient means the aforesaid oaken timbers. By this will I prohibit my heirs or occupiers of these my said lands are to refrain from felling at any time till he shall have any oaken timber that now be growing except that which is necessary to maintain my houses and barns in the said parishes of Maidstone and Boxley.
Item: I do give and bequeath my daughter Ann Houting, wid, after the decease of my said wife Mary the one half of my house and lands in the parish of Maidstone and Boxley to her and her heirs forever.
Item: I bequeath the other half of my said houses and lands in Maidstone and
Boxley after the decease of my said wife Mary to my two daughters, Lucy Goldsmith and Elizabeth Stiles equally between them.
If one should die their portion to go to the other, if both die without issue then it is to go to my
daughter Anne Houting and her heirs forever.
Item: I give to my two daughters Lucy Goldsmith and Elizabeth Stiles my house and lands in the parish of Hartlip equally between them and their heirs forever after the decease of my aforesaid wife Mary.
Item: To my daughters Margaret Moore, wife of John Moore of Hartlip, Miller and my daughter Jane Carby (Kirby) wife of Edward Carby (Kirby) of Stockbury, husbandman my mill in the parish of Hartlip after the decease of my wife Mary, two third parts to my daughter Margaret and one third part to my daughter Jane and their heirs forever.
Item: I give unto my loving wife Mary all my houses and lands in the parishes
of Maidstone, Boxley and Hartlip during her natural life.
Item: I give and bequeath all my other goods and chattels not bequeathed unto
my loving wife Mary whom I make and appoint sole executor of this my last will and testament.
