This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Sudweeks of St James Isle of Grain Labourer

I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Susanna the Wife of James Coomber all my Furniture Wearing apparel and other personal property or in case of her death before me to her husband the said James Coomber

I give and bequeath my real property or Estate whether Freehold or leasehold unto Mr George Lake of Oakley Farm in the Parish of Higham In trust for the following purposes To sell or dispose of the same by Public or by private sale as he may think proper within a year after my decease and with the produce thereof pay all my just debts particularly such Sums of money as Mr Wm Lake his Father may have advanced to me or for my support during my life and my funeral expences and the remainder to divide into five equal parts
paying one part to my Son Richard Sudweeks
one other fifth part to my Daughter Elizabeth Willson the Wife of Edward Willson
one other fifth part to Mary the Wife of Richard Grendy
one other fifth part to Susanna the Wife of James Coomber
being four of my Children and in case of the death of either of them before me my will and desire is that their husbands or Wives as the case may be should receive the same

the remaining fifth part I give to my two Grandsons Richard Sudweeks and Henry Sudweeks the Children of my Son John Sudweeks by his late Wife Elizabeth Martin to be paid to them as soon as they attain the Age of twenty one years in equal shares with benefit of Survivorship

I constitute and appoint the said George Lake sole Executor to this my Will with power to sell & convey my estate in the same manner as I could do if living
