Notes
This will provides a few clues about Adam SUTTONs life; he was married (his wife Jane
inherited the residue of his estate) but there is no indication that he had an heir. I have not
been able to find his marriage
The bequests made by Adam SUTTON shows he also had links with Brenzett, a parish
around 2 miles to the east of Fairfield: I have read that such bequests may indicate he
farmed land there.
An inventory was prepared but unfortunately does not survive: it shows his goods were
valued at 57 14 shillings.
