I give and bequeath unto my Son James Swift the Sum of One shilling
And all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever or
wheresoever (after payment of my Just Debts and Funerall Expences) I give and bequeath the same to
my Wife Elizabeth Swift to and for her own absolute use and benefit
and I appoint my said Wife Elizabeth Swift my Executrix of this my Will
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of August in the year of

and Testament in the presence of the date being first altered from the thirteenth to the fifteenth day of
August by the Word thirteenth being struck through with the pen and the Word Fifteenth wrote over the same

This Will was proved at London the sixteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and two before the Worshipful Samuel Pearce Parson Doctor of Laws Surrogate of The Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Elizabeth Swift Widow the Relict of the deceased and the sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased was granted having been first sworn duly to Administer.
