In the name of God Amen Thys ys the laste wyll of me Rychard Symon made in the yere of or Lorde God a thowsand fyve hundred fyftye and syxe
Firste I bequethe my sowle to allmyghte God my savyour and redemer my bodye to be buryed in the churche yarde of Marden

Item I bequethe to Stephen Browne a blacke gored heffore
Item I bequethe to Thomas Harrys one cowe whyche he hathe allredye Also to hym I bequethe too [2] busshelles of wheate
Item I bequethe to James Weste a vs
Item I bequethe to John Bodyam a vs

All the Residewe of my goodes not bequethed I bequethe to Elyzabethe my wyfe to paye my debtes and bequethes whome I ordayne and make my executryx

Item I bequethe to Wyllyam Browne a ijs
Item I bequethe to James Weste and to Wyllyam Browne all my tooylles [tools] belongynge to myne occupatyon equally betwene them to be devyded
