In the Name of God Amen the seventh of September in the yeare of our Lord according to the Computation of the church of England one thousand six hundred fifty and eight
I Thomas Symonds of Maidstone in the County of Kent wheelwright being weake in body but of perfect sence and memory blessed be God do make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following
first I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker hoping that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour and redeemer to receive free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins And as for my body to be buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter nominated

Item I give unto my Son Thomas Symons Fourty pounds
Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Symons Twenty pounds
Item I give unto my Father William Symons Five pounds to be paid unto him at such tyme and tymes as hee by reason of sicknesse or povertie shall stand in neede of the sume

Item all the rest of my house leases lands tenements debts bills bonds goods Cattell and chattells whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Elizabeth Symons and to her heires for ever upon condition that Shee Shall pay all my debts and legacyes

And make her Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament revoaking all other wills and testaments
And lastly I make Thomas Willard Shoomaker my loving brother in law overseer of this my will desireing him to be aiding and assisting to my wife in the performance of this will

In witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the day and yeare above written Thomas Symons Published Sealed and declared in the presence of
