This is the last Will and Testament of me George Tapsell of Horsmonden in the County of Kent Farmer made the eleventh day of April one thousand eight hundred and thirty six

I appoint my friends William Bright of Chislehurst and George Hammond of Horsmonden Executors of my Will and direct them to pay my just debts funeral and testamentary expences as soon as convenient after my death

I give unto my Brother Richard the Escritoire in my bed room
and to my brother Francis the high chest of drawers in my best bedroom
I give unto my Wife�s Sister Catherine Baker a legacy of fifty pounds of lawful sterling money

And I direct my Executors to carry on my farming business till the Michaelmas next after my death and at that time to put away and dispose of the same and convert the whole of my personal estate into money and pay the clear residue thereof after deducting my debts and legacies unto my dear Wife Anna Maria Tapsell for her own use absolutely

And I direct that my executors shall not be answerable for each other and that they may retain and allow to each other their charges and expences in executing the trusts hereby expressed therein

And lastly I hereby revoke all other Wills and declare this writing to contain my whole last will and Testament
