In the Name of God Amen Anno Dmi 1654 Feb. 26th I John Taylour of Westwell in the County of Kent Yeoman being of good and perfect memory ( the Lord be praised for it) doe make and ordaine this my present Testament and last Will in manner and forme following.
First I doe bequeath my Soule unto Almightie God my Maker and Redeemer. And my Bodie to the Earth to be decently buryed according to the discrecon of my Executors hereafter menconed in the Church of Westwell

Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Taylour one hundred poundes to be paid unto her at the age of twentie years old.

And as for the disposing of all my Landes this is my last Will and Testament of me the said John Taylor and by me personally declared.

I will and bequeath my Landes to be equallie devided betwixt my Sonnes Thomas and Daniell.
And my will is that my sonne Thomas shall lett out the house and landes until such time as all my Debts be paid And alsoe until he hath paid or putt in sufficient Security for the true payment of the aforesaid one hundred poundes.

Alsoe I ordaine my Brother Thomas Taylour and my sonne Thomas to be Joynt Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

Whereunto I have sett my Hand and Seale the Day and Yeare above written.
This is the Marke of John Taylour.
