In the name of God Amen The ninth day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred eighty and six
I Elizabeth Terry of Ickham in the County of Kent Widow – though weake of body yet of good and perfect memory (the Lord be praised for it) and all his other blessings bestowed upon me I doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following
First I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God that gave it, and my body I comitt to the earth from whence it was taken to be buryed at the discresion of my Executors hereafter named, and as for my worldly goods I give them as followeth

Item I give unto the poore of this parish Forty shilllings to be payd in one month after my decease at the discrecon of my Executor
Item I do give unto my sonne Richard Terry all my part of houses and land that I have in the Isle of Thanett, in the parish of Minster paying t[w]o hundred pounds, to my sonne Michell Terry’s daughter [Abigail] Fifty pounds, To Elizabeth Terry, daughter of Mickell Terry and one hundred and Fifty pounds

And my meaning is that if Elizabeth Terry should dye before she attaine to the day of marriage, it is to goe to her sister Abigall Terry, and if Abigall Terry dye before she attaine to the day of marriage it is to goe to her sister Elizabeth Terry to be paid the use to them

Item I give more unto my son Richard Terry all my part of my house and Land lying and being at Sotton [Seaton?] in the parish of Ickham
upon Consideracon to pay my sone Hather Fifty pounds which he hath a bond for it
And to pay Elizabeth Yung one hundred pounds daughter of Thomas Yung at the day of marriage, and to pay her use for it

Item I give to Elizabeth Terry daughter of Richard Terry one seale ring, one brasse pan, one colender
Item I give unto Mary Terry daughter of Richard Terry t[w]o little silver wine cups and one sett of silver salts and the blacke hanging shelfe with the things on it
Item I doe give Elizabeth Mills daughter of Stephen Harker t[w]o silver porranger
Item I doe give unto Thomas Harer sone of Stephen Harer [Harker?] on[e] Silver pot with a cover
Item I give unto Stephen sone of Steven [Harker?] one Silver cane
Item I give to Elizabeth Yung daughter of Thomas Yung one parcell of linnen and one of the biggest pewter dishes and my silver chaine and dishes and themble

Item I give unto Elizabeth Terry daughter of Michell Terry halfe a dozen of silver spoones marked with “H. A.”, and one silver wine cup marked with “E. E. “
Item I give unto Abigall Terry daughter of Michell Terry all my pewter and brasse excepte that given before, and t[w]o boxes and the things that are in them, and the boxes in the Closett and the thing[s] that are in them All the things in the Closett and the wearing linnen about the house

Item I give unto my sone Isaac Terry the house and Land where I live in Ickham parish And all the moveable goods except that all ready given

and the outerlins? [interlines?] as followeth
That Richard Terry shall pay to Elizabeth Terry and Abigall Terry and Elizabeth Yung the interest of their money as it shall come due and Thomas Harer sone of Steven Harker enterlined

And I appoint my sone Isaac Terry full and wholey Executor of that my last will and Testament

hereunto I sett my hand & seale in the second yeare of his Majestys raigne James the second Anno dini one thousand six hundred eighty and sixe
